Krisdianto C. Nugroho bringing more than 25 years of experience handling complex, high-stakes corporate and regulatory matters within Indonesia's financial sector. His career reflects a rare combination of deep in-house commercial insight, built over two decades inside multinational financial institutions, and elite law firm advisory expertise developed in private practice.

Prior to joining HWMA, Krisdianto spent two decades serving as trusted in-house legal counsel for several of the world's leading multinational financial institutions operating in Indonesia. His corporate track record includes pivotal legal roles at Citibank N.A. (Jakarta Branch), where he supported the bank's commercial banking operations; AIG Insurance and AIG Lippo, where he advised on insurance regulatory and product matters; Allianz Life and Lippo Life, where he handled life insurance compliance and corporate governance; and Cigna, where he supported the company's Indonesian operations. Across these roles, he developed a practical, business-oriented understanding of how multinational financial institutions manage legal risk, regulatory relationships, and day-to-day commercial operations in Indonesia.

Krisdianto later transitioned into private practice, further refining his advocacy and transactional skills as Of Counsel at Susandarini and Partners in Jakarta, before joining HWMA. This move allowed him to combine his in-house commercial judgment with the technical rigor and client-facing advisory discipline of law firm practice, positioning him to advise clients from both perspectives — as a former client-side counsel and as external legal advisor.

Today, Krisdianto maintains extensive expertise navigating the Indonesian Capital Market framework. He routinely guides public and private entities through sophisticated capital market transactions, including Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), Rights Issues, Tender Offers, and strategic Mergers & Acquisitions. His commercial acumen and regulatory familiarity ensure that complex cross-border corporate actions, joint ventures, and foreign direct investments are executed efficiently and in strict compliance with OJK and IDX regulations, from initial structuring through to closing and post-transaction compliance.

As a recognized specialist in insurance and banking law, Krisdianto advises corporate clients on strategic corporate actions, financial transactions, and the day-to-day operational complexities that financial institutions face in a heavily regulated environment. He has an outstanding record in regulatory compliance in Indonesia, helping institutions navigate evolving frameworks around Anti-Money Laundering (AML), anti-corruption, data privacy, and consumer protection. In addition to his advisory work, Krisdianto is a skilled dispute resolution strategist, frequently representing life and general insurance companies in delicate claims handling and commercial disputes, drawing on his in-house background to anticipate both legal exposure and commercial sensitivities.
