Dr. Achmad Jaka Santos Adiwijaya — known as Jaka — is a Special Counsel at HWMA Law Firm, where he brings a combination of legal practice, academic leadership, and senior public service experience to advise clients on complex matters that sit at the intersection of law, governance, and public policy.

In public service, Jaka served as Secretary of the Transition Team for the Preparation, Construction, and Relocation of the State Capital, and subsequently as Secretary of the Nusantara Capital City Authority (Otorita IKN). He has also served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Public Service Agency for the Kemayoran Complex Management Center under the Ministry of State Secretariat.

In the corporate sphere, Jaka has provided strategic counsel as a Corporate Legal Advisor at PT Aerowisata (Garuda Indonesia Group) (2018-2026), and held a role within PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. contributing to business development, risk monitoring, and corporate governance.

As a legal practitioner, Jaka has served as a Senior Partner at several reputable law firms in Jakarta, and his career has also included roles at the Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency (IBRA/BPPN) and the Cabinet Secretariat.

Alongside his professional experience, Jaka has contributed to academic and public discourse through various publications, and has held teaching and academic leadership positions at several universities in Indonesia, including Dean of the Faculty of Law, Secretary of the High Council, Director of the Postgraduate Program, and Director of Cooperation and International Relations at Universitas Djuanda Bogor.
