As a founding partner of HWMA Law Firm, Kukuh Komandoko Hadiwidjojo has established a reputation for his expertise in corporate-investment deals. He holds a prominent position in the firm, guiding its global and strategic direction, and leads the legal research and development initiatives. With a doctorate in law, he brings a unique perspective on the application of the precautionary principle to mitigate financial crises in Indonesia.

Kukuh's experience and expertise extend beyond the walls of HWMA Law Firm. He worked for the Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency (IBRA) during the Asian financial crisis of 1998, where he successfully managed the well-known bankruptcy case of PT Bank Global International Tbk. In 2006, he prevented the state from potentially losing Rp732.9 billion. He also worked with the Indonesian Deposit Insurance Corporation (IDIC) to restructure PT Bank Century during the 2008 global financial crisis.

In 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Kukuh led the HWMA Law Firm team in supporting a major IPO corporate activity, demonstrating his leadership and commitment to his clients. In 2018, he successfully exonerated the defendants in the East Kalimantan Fertilizer Pension Fund (DAPEN PKT) case, exposing a distortion in the law enforcement procedure in the financial sector. Currently, he serves as the Head of the Standard Committee (Dewan Standar) for the Capital Market Legal Consultant Association (HKHPM).
