Hidayat Ardibrata is currently the company's Managing Partner. After completing his law school at the University of Indonesia, Hidayat has worked as an associate lawyer at Benedicta & Associates from 1997 to 1999. He then moved to Roedl & Partner, an international law and tax consulting firm, and has been assigned as a legal advisor since 1999. He expanded his experience in the legal field as an associate lawyer at Assegaf Hamzah & Partners and seconded as Corporate Secretary and General Legal Advisor at PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk, one of the largest cement companies in Indonesia, during the company turnover period from 2002 to 2005. During his lawyer career, he has been involved in various capital market transactions, M&A, debt restructuring, project financing, banking and insurance legal issues. He has experience in cases brought to the Business Competition Supervisory Commission (KPPU) and the Singapore International Arbitration Center (SIAC). He is also experienced in drafting all stages of EPC contract negotiations in the mining industry and energy sector. He was the director of legal affairs of a PMA consulting firm, which gave advice on foreign investment and doing business in Indonesia, before deciding to join and form the HWMA Law Firm.

He also advises creative industry entrepreneurs and start-ups on issues affecting their business models, operations and products, including pre-publication reviews and brand protection strategies. Advice regularly provided to the board of directors and their senior management on various corporate governance and compliance issues, as well as electronic media law.

He is a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (Peradi) and the Indonesian Capital Market Legal Consultants Association.

Hidayat concentrates his practice in Corporate, Investment Law, Capital and Securities Markets, Banking and Finance, Competition Law, Intellectual Property Rights Law, Employment, Land and Property; and Litigation of complex commercial disputes.
